element14 brings latest Silex Wi-Fi 6 Radio Development Kit from Gateworks to Industrial Developers Worldwide

element14 has some exciting news for tech enthusiasts attending Embedded World 2024. They’ll be the exclusive seller of Gateworks’ latest Wi-Fi 6 Development Kit, the GW11048-5-A, during the event in Nuremberg, Germany. This kit is designed to make testing and evaluating Wi-Fi 6 radios easier than ever, catering to industrial applications like remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.

What makes this kit stand out is its user-friendly setup. It comes pre-loaded with a Linux system and includes all the necessary accessories, so developers can dive right in. With features like support for Silex Wi-Fi 6 radios, an NXP i.MX8M Mini processor, and various connectivity options, it’s ready to tackle diverse industrial needs.

1. Supports Silex SX-SDMAX and SX-PCEAX Wi-Fi 6 radios (radios not included)
2. Includes Venice GW7200 Single Board Computer (SBC) with pre-loaded Linux drivers
3. Onboard NXP i.MX8M Mini processor (1.6 GHz quad-core)
4. 8GB eMMC flash storage and 1GB LPDDR4 DRAM
5. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two Mini-PCIe expansion slots
6. Multiple connectivity options including MicroSD, Nano SIM, I2C, SPI, and serial ports
7. Real-time clock, voltage and temperature monitoring
8. Wide input voltage range (8 to 60VDC) with PoE support
9. Operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C
