Keysight and NXP Pioneer Automotive Security with World’s First Digital Key Applet

n a landmark achievement for automotive security, NXP Semiconductors has secured the first-ever Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) Digital Key Applet (DKA) certification, with pivotal support from Keysight Technologies’ Riscure Security Solutions. This milestone marks a significant advancement in establishing a new standard for secure digital key solutions in the automotive industry.

The CCC DKA certification program is designed to ensure that digital key solutions meet stringent security requirements, protecting user privacy and data through advanced public key protocols, secure hardware-based key storage, and robust wireless transmission standards. This certification is crucial for authorizing user access to vehicles, providing confidence in the security and reliability of next-generation automotive systems.
